Eco Eden Bush Lodge is ideally situated among some of the most beautiful and  picturesque places to see and experience.  We are the perfect base from which you can explore the beauty and splendor nature have to offer.

Here are a few options for your perusal.  Our friendly staff can assist you with making a reservation for any of the acivities – prices available on request.

Game Drive Options

Kruger National Park Self-drive. You pay a nominal entrance fee and spend the day exploring this world famous wildlife Park by yourself in your own vehicle at your own time.

KNP Morning/Sunset drive.  You drive yourself to one of the available KNP gates (there are four within 45 minutes from the Lodge) and from there take a pre-booked morning or sunset drive with a guide on an open vehicle accommodating 8 – 12 passengers.  Drive lasts three hours and leaves at 5pm and 5am.

Private drive on an open air vehicle.  Part of a tour of 2 – 8 to the Kruger National Park, same duration but leaves from Nelspruit.

Kruger National Park Exclusive drive.  Picked up at the Lodge by experienced driver/tour guide, only two to four in the party, drive lasts 6 hours.

Panorama Route Visit visually magnificent sites such as Graskop, God’s Window, the Pinnacle, Three Rondavels and grass- and wetlands.  Our guests usually leave after breakfast to be back on time for dinner.

Mozambique:  The capital  Maputo is only 160km from Eco-Eden.  Weekend tours and beach holidays arranged for groups.

Pilgrim’s Rest: This gold diggers town dating from the early 1900’s is a declared museum.  Experience bygone times of gold panning and visit the original pub at the Royal Hotel.

Barberton Explore the history of creation on the new Geo Trail, located in an ancient alluvial area. Tarred road all the way and guides can also be arranged. Free self drive

Kaapsehoop  Hike or horseback through the forests and escarpment of this old gold diggers town.

Archery. On request only.

Aviation Adventures.  Scenic flights over big game areas, canyons and forests.   Choose between Hot Air Ballooning, Microlight flights and Helicopter flips lasting from 10 to 90 minutes

Big Swing and Waterfall Abseiling.   Around Hazyview, Graskop and Sabie there are different sites where you can swing and abseil if you have enough guts!  Aerial Cable Trail of 1.2km, the longest in Africa, looking down on the forest floor.

Caving and Kloofing.  For the more adventurous. Prepare yourself to get dirty and wet doing chamber crawling, rock hopping, river traversing and plunging into breathtaking pools.

Chimpanzee Eden. The Jane Goodall Institute is a stone throw from Eco-Eden and day visitors contribute to the rescue of chimpanzees in captivity.

Cutural Villages…Shangana and Matsulu. Enjoy traditional beer and food as in the days of Chief Soshangana.

Elephant Safaris. Walk, feed and experience elephant in their natural habitat.

Gold panning.  A highly rewarding activity on your lucky day!

Hiking.  Numerous hiking trails are available from a few hours to 4 day treks through beautiful scenery.

Safaris…Day or evening.

Shopping malls.  The regional capital of Nelspruit boasts three huge shopping malls and a Casino.

Whitewater Rafting.  Conquer class 3 and 4 rapids on the mighty Sabie River on a tube or kayak.
